Yael Schonzeit is a Kohenet, singer and educator. She works primarily as a prayer leader and spiritual teacher for the Jewish community. She has training in multiple healing modalities and has studied spiritual traditions from across the globe.

Inspired by the gifts and challenges of her Modern Orthodox Jewish upbringing, Yael is dedicated to cultivating spiritual community and practices that are earth-based, dynamic, embodied, and feminist. 

Yael is a graduate of NYU School of Social work and received her M.Div from Starr King School for the Ministry.
